The written exam for recruitment against the different positions under the Assam Police, APRO, Assam Commando Battalions, DGCD & CGHG, Prison Department, and Directorate of Forensic Science was held on April 06, 2025, whose result is expected to be released most probably in mid May 2025.
Candidates who have participated in the written exam should know that the OMR Sheets are likely to be evaluated within six weeks and then the result will be released. Those who took part in the first stage of the selection process should know that only those are going to be declared successful whose score will meet or exceed the cut off marks.
The written exam was conducted against the 5563 vacancies of Constable, Sub Officer, Emergency Rescuer, Boatman and Havaldar. If you are among those you should know that the result for this exam will be made available as a merit list, which will carry the Roll Number of those aspirants who will be eligible to participate in the Document Verification and Medical Examination.

What’s Next?
The result for the written exam held for recruitment of Constable, Sub Officer, Emergency Rescuer, Boatman and Havaldar is successfully held, Candidates who will pass it will be called for the Document Verification and Medical Examination. Individuals who took part in the exam should know only those who are going to be called for it whose score will meet or exceed the minimum requirement.
On the day of Document Verification, a candidate will have to carry the required documents’ original copy with two xerox copies. You are required to carry the following documents at the designated centre.
