CBSE Result 2025

Students of the class 12th or 10th of the CBSE board of academic session 2024-25 are now participating in the board examination. The exams of both matriculation and intermediate are still going on, as per the date sheet, the last exam of class 12 will be concluded on 04 April 2025 and the class 10th last exam will be completed on 18 March 2025.

According to the reports, this year, around 44 lakh students will appear for the CBSE examinations. The students participating in the 2025 board examinations must be wondering about the result date.

As per the past year’s trends, the students can expect the results of class 10 and 12th results in May 2025, mostly around the second week of May 2025. Last year, the board released the final exam results for 10th and 12th on 13th May 2024.

Steps to check the CBSE Results 2025

The students participating in the CBSE examinations can check the result online by following the below steps:

  • You should visit the official website of CBSE mentioned above.
  • You should click the Result section on the official website and see the class 12th or 10th result link.
  • Once you find the Class 10th or 12th result link, click the link, you will be directed to a new page.
  • In the next page, you should enter your Roll number and DOB to see your result.
  • Once you enter your roll number of class 12th /10th, your result will appear on your screen.

The CBSE result will include the candidate’s name, subject-wise marks, father’s name, total marks, qualifying status, and other details.

Steps to check CBSE result 2025 via SMS 

Students who can’t check the CBSE results online can check the result via SMS services and easily access their outcome of the board examinations. The students can follow the below steps to check the CBSE result via SMS:

  • Candidates should open the messaging app on their mobile phone.
  • They should enter a text in the given format: For Class X: cbse10<rollno><schoolno><centerno> or For Class XII: cbse12<rollno><schoolno><centerno> and send it to 7738299899.
  • The board will send your result to your mobile phone, you can take a screenshot of the result or later download the digital copy of the result from the official website of CBSE.

CBSE Passing Criteria for class 10th and 12th

Students appearing for the CBSE class 10th and 12th examinations should know the following  passing criteria of the examination:

  • The class 10th students have to score at least 33% of pass in the overall combined marks of theory and internal assessment. The candidates should also score 33% marks in each subject or practical examination to clear the examination.
  • The class 12th students should at least score 33% in each subject and the practical subject (if any). The students must score at least 33% of the overall marks in theory and internal assessment.

The candidates who couldn’t score higher than the minimum marks and failed the examination can give a compartment examination to pass the examination and improve their scores. Candidates who have cleared the examination can improve their examination score in the succeeding year examinations if they didn’t pursue higher education.

When can you expect the original mark sheet of CBSE 2025?

The students who cleared their CBSE board examinations can expect their original marksheet to be released by the board in a month or two after the board declares the result. The students can collect their original mark sheet from their respective schools as the board will send it to the schools.

The CBSE board examination for the academic session 2024-25 is still going on, the students who are wondering about the result can expect the final result in May 2025.

  3. CBSE team please I beg you to check fair and give grace marking because math’s standard exam was lengthy, so many students were not able to attempt all questions, Mera bhi 12 marks chut gya 😭😭 mene 97% lane ki bhut kosis ki h , please puri saal ki mehnat ese khrb n jane de ap sb 🙏🏻

    Checking criteria of class 10th be lenient because tha papper was actually hard and long too i request cbse to give drase marks upto 5 to 10 at least. We all ha really work hard for maths papper .😢😢

  13. I request the cbse board to do lenient checking for the maths paper because the paper was too length and tricky
    We didn’t have enough time to think and answer the paper completely
    2mark and 5mark questions in set1 were slightly hard
    Pls give step marks accordingly
    We are not asking extra marks We are only asking reasonable marks
    Don’t detect the marks for the whole question,one again I request all the evaluators to give step marks
