Aspirants who are interested in being appointed as Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teacher in any government or private schools should know that it is mandatory to pass the CTET for Paper 1 and Paper 2, respectively. Individuals who will pass the exam will be awarded with a TET certificate, which is required for appointment as Teacher

The CTET July 2025 application form will be available for four weeks after the release of the notification brochure. Each and every single individual should know that to apply for this examination a candidate is required to provide details, attach documents and make fee payment by the deadline.

How to Apply?

In order to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test July 2025 for Paper 1 and Paper 2, you have to go through the listed points. 

  • Go to the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, which is accessible at https://ctet.nic.in/.
  • On the web-portal, you will see an option that reads ‘CTET July 2025 – Apply,’ tap on it and get redirected to the next webpage.
  • Now, you will see an option that ‘New Registration,’ tap on it and complete the registration process.
  • Login with Application Number and Date Of Birth, and provide basic and educational qualification details.
  • Upload required documents with photographs and signature in required size and format.
  • Pay the application fee using the debit card, credit card, or any other provided payment gateway and submit the application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criterias for the CTET July 2025 Paper 1 and Paper 2 is available below, go through the listed points to check that you are eligible to apply or not.

Paper 1 Paper 2
A candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam from a school recognised by the CBSE, BSEB, UPMSP, MPBSE, CGBSE, etc,. Additionally, the candidate’s must have pursued a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or four-year Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from an institution recognized by the NCTE. A candidate must pass the Intermediate exam from a school recognised by the CSBE, or any State/Central Board. Additionally, the candidate must have pursued a four-year BA-BEd, four-year BSc-BEd, four-year BElEd or four-year ITEP from an institution recognized by the NCTE.
OR
A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in a subject from a university recognised by the UGC. Additionally, the candidate must have pursued two-year DElEd, two-year BEd, or three-year BEd-MEd from an institution recognized by the NCTE.

There is no cap on lower or upper age limit to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test July 2025 for Paper 1 or Paper 2.

Exam Pattern:

Application Fees:

In order to apply for the CTET July 2025 for the Paper 1 or Paper 2, a candidate who belongs to UR, OBC or EWS is required to deposit ₹1,000/-, the application fee for SC, ST and PH category candidates is only ₹500/-. Incase of applying for both papers, an individual will have to pay ₹1200/- instead of ₹1000/-; and ₹600/- instead of ₹500/-.
