Candidates should the window to apply for the CTET July 2025 will be available online at https://ctet.nic.in/ likely for four weeks. It is expected that the application form will be available between April and May 2025. Aspirants will be able to apply by providing details, attaching documents, photographs,s and signatures, and making fee payment.

CTET July 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criterias for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for July 2025 is available below in the various terms for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1:

  • A candidate must have passed the 12th Exam and have completed two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.

Paper 2:

  • Option-I: A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree and have pursued two-year Bachelor’s of Education or Diploma in Elementary Education, or three-year year Bachelor’s of Education cum Master’s of Education.
  • Option-II: A candidate must have passed the 12th Exam and have completed four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education, or Bachelor’s of Arts cum Bachelor’s of Education, or Bachelor’s of Science cum Bachelor’s of Education.

Note: There is no cap of lower or upper age limit to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper 1 or 2 for July 2025.

CTET July 2025 Notification

CTET July 2025 Application Fee 

In order to apply for the CTET July 2025, a candidate who belongs to UR, OBC or EWS is required to pay the application fee of ₹1,000/- using the debit card, credit card, or any other provided payment gateway incase of applying for Paper 1 or Paper 2. The payable amount for  SC, ST candidate and PwBD is only ₹600/-.

Note: The application fee for applying for Central Teacher Eligibility Test for both papers is ₹1,200/- and ₹1,000/- for UR, OBC & EWS candidates, and SC, ST candidates and PwBD, respectively.

CTET July 2025 Exam Date 

The exam date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for Paper 1 and Paper for July 2025 will be held by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Individuals should know that the exam will be administered in offline mode using the OMR Sheets most in the second week of July 2025 with an exam time duration 02 hours and 30 minutes.

Note: The Paper 2 and Paper 1 exam will be administered from 09:30 am to 12:00 and 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm, respectively. For Paper 2, a candidate is required to report at the respective exam centre by 08:30 am, and the reporting time for Paper 1 is 01:30 pm.

CTET July 2025 Exam Pattern 

The Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi will hold the CTET July 2025 Paper 1 and 2 in offline mode using the OMR Sheets. Candidates should know that the exam will be administered with an exam time 02 hours and 30 minutes. A total number of 150 MCQs will be asked from different sections:

Paper 1:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions
  • Language I – 30 questions
  • Language II – 30 questions
  • Mathematics – 30 questions
  • Environmental Studies (EVS) – 30 questions

Paper 2:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions
  • Language I – 30 questions
  • Language II – 30 questions
  • Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies/Social Science – 60 questions

The medium of the exam will be English and Hindi or the regional Language, each question will be of 1 mark and there will be no provision of negative marking.
