The short notification for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2024 is released by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan on December 11, 2024, the detailed advertisement is released on December 12, 2024, after which the application form will be available from 16 December 2024 to 15 January 2025.
The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2024 is going to be administered by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan for individuals who are seeking jobs as Primary and Upper Primary Teacher in government aided schools. It is a Preliminary Exam for teacher recruitment, those who clear it will be eligible to participate in the Mains Exam.
REET 2024 Application Form
The application form for the REET 2024 will be available from December 16, 2024, onwards, individuals who want to participate in the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2024 for the Primary Teacher or Upper Primary Teacher will be able to apply by providing the required details, attaching documents and making fee payment by deadline set.

REET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the REET 2025 is available below for Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teacher is available below. in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
Educational Qualification:
Primary Teacher (Level 1):
- A candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam from a school recognised by the BSER or CBSE.
- Additionally, the individual must have pursued a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education from an institution recognized by the NCTE.
Upper Primary Teacher (Level 2):
- A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the UGC.
- Additionally, the candidate’s must have pursued a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or two-year Bachelor’s of Education from an institution recognized by the NCTE.
Note: A candidate who have pursued four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education or four-year Bachelor’s of Arts/Science cum Bachelor’s of Education from a institution recognized by the NCTE are also eligible to apply for the REET 2024 Level 2.
Age Limit:
There is no cap of upper or lower age limit, but there will be for the REET (Main). Primary Teacher (Level 1) & Upper Primary Teacher (Level 2): One’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 40 years as of cut off date. The upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules, whose details are available below:
- OBC: 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- Ye -PwBD: 10 Years
- OBC-PwBD: 13 Years
- SC/ST-PwBD: 15 Years
REET 2024 Application Fee
In order to apply for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2024 Level 1 or 2 , a candidate is required to pay the application fee of ₹500/-, incase of applying for the Level 1 and 2, the payable amount is ₹750/-. It is mandatory to pay the required amount using a debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway.
REET 2024 Exam Date
The exam date for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2024 is announced by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. The REET 2024 for Level 1 and 2 will be administered on 27 February 2025. The actual timing and venue will be available on the admit card, which will be released a week before the scheduled exam date.
REET 2024 Exam Pattern
The BSER will held the REET 2024 Level 1 and 2 in offline mode using the OMR Sheet, a total number of 150 MCQs will be asked from different sections. Each question in the exam will be of 1 mark, and incase of incorrect response no mark will be deducted. To touch all MCQs, each applicant will get an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes, and the medium of exam will be English and Hindi.
