The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has released the tentative examination schedule for the 2025-26 academic session and set the ANM & GNM entrance examination date on 29 June 2025. With the release of the exam date, interested candidates are now wondering about the application form.
The board has mentioned that they will shortly release the application details for the ANM & GNM 2025 Common Entrance test, though they have not mentioned any specific dates. But, with exam dates set, the candidates can expect the application form to be out in April 2025, and will have a month to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the upcoming ANM & GNM entrance test 2025 can check the eligibility requirements for the application below:
- Citizenship:
- Candidates should be Indian nationals and possess a West Bengal domicile.
- Age Limit:
- Candidate’s lower age limit is 17 years as on 31 June 2025, there is no upper age limit for the entrance test.
- Gender:
- For ANM, only female candidates can apply, whereas for GNM, both male and female candidates can apply.
- Educational Qualification:
- The minimum qualification to apply for the entrance test is that the candidates must have passed (or be appearing) the 12th class examinations or equivalent exam, securing at least 40% marks from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have the English subject in the 12th examination.
- Candidates must be able to write, read, and speak the Bengali/ Nepali language.
Examination Fee
As mentioned earlier, the board is yet to release the information bulletin for the ANM & GNM-2025 examination, so the actual examination fee will be known then only. However, based 2024 ANM & GNM, interested candidates can get the following idea of the examination fee as per their category:

- Next, Important links, you will find the ANM & GNM 2025 application link once it is activated, but before that, do not forget to read the information bulletin.
- Next, click for New Registartion and enter the personal details, such as name, DOB< address, mobile number, email ID, etc, and generate the password and application number.
- Next, provide your educational category, nationality, and other details as asked in the form.
- Next, upload the scanned copy of your signature and photograph as per the instructions and other relevant documents.
- Next, pay the examination fee through QR code/ UPI/Net banking/ Credit/ Debit card, and once the application fee is paid, your application for the aNM & GNM 2025 will be complete.
The candidates should check the entered information before applying, though the board has a correction period to edit the application.

- The ANM & GNM 2-25 entrance exam will have two categories- category 1 will have 85 questions and it will have negative marking of 1/4th for incorrect answers, category 2 will have 15 questions with no negative marking and 2 marks for each question.
